An update about railroad operations in the central Texas area. Mainly along the UP Austin sub from Round Rock - Taylor and the BNSF in the Temple area. Also occasional updates from the UP Corsicana and Ennis subs and the BNSF DFW Sub between Dallas and Teague.

Amtrak 156 in Central Texas


Amtrak 156, one of 4 Amtrak 40th Anniversary engines, lead the Texas Eagle from Chicago to San Antonio and back last weekend.  Here are pics of the train with 2 other Units entering Round Rock, TX heading for Austin and San Antonio
