The Union Pacific ran a special from Ft. Worth to Austin with the MKT Heritage 1988 and Boy Scott 2010 following the Super Bowl.  Here are videos and pics of the special departing Taylor, Texas on it's return trip to Ft. Worth and on to Council Bluffs.

Old MKT Signals Along The UP Waco Sub

There are some very interesting looking signals on the old MKT between Temple and Taylor, Texas.  Here are some pics I took testing out my new Iphone back in October.  Tried to get as many as possible.  The first two are pics of the signal that protects the UP, BNSF crossing at Temple.  The others were taken between Little River and Taylor.

Union Pacific Bellmead Local Heading South Past the Old MKT Depot in Temple, Texas on Friday December 10, 2010.   Ive Been Trying To Get a Picture and/or Video at This Location For Quite Some Time.  Hopefully, With Recent Trackwork on The UP Waco Sub, This Line Will Start To See Some New Traffic.

Caught a rail grinding machine in Taylor, Texas as well as this Norfolk Southern, ex Conrail Unit Leading A Northbound merchandise train through the yard.
